Reviews and Ratings
I felt like I was right in the heart of Llandudno at The Watkins hotel. The rooms had a great view over the street and down into town, even though the outdated curtains blocked some natural light. The service was top-notch, with friendly and professional staff making sure we were well taken care of. The location couldn't have been better, just 3 minutes from the seafront, and the pool area was clean and inviting. The dining experience was superb, except for a minor issue with charges. Overall, a memorable stay with a few minor room details to consider.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although small, offered lovely views of the town and was very comfortable, with nice character touches such as a free safe and a decanter of sherry. However, being located next to the noisy kitchen staff and bins, especially during early morning bin collections, was quite disruptive.
I booked a budget room over the phone, but I was pleasantly surprised by the terrific view overlooking the street and town. On the downside, being next to the noisy kitchen and bins made it quite a loud experience.
I had a wonderful stay at the Empire Hotel. The rooms were great, with individual room temperature control making my stay very comfortable. The service was fantastic, with the staff always going the extra mile to accommodate our needs. The location was perfect, offering stunning views down to Llandudno Bay and being close to the famous pier. The dining experience was also very good, especially the full Welsh breakfast. The facilities were top-notch, and overall, I had a fantastic experience at this hotel.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms, although lacking a sea view, were quite luxurious and well-equipped, making for a comfortable experience. The service was friendly overall, but the reception staff came across as a bit businesslike. The location, with views of the town, was great, especially the beautiful pool area. The dining experience was enjoyable, with a good selection of food. The facilities were top-notch, adding to the overall positive experience.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel; the rooms were clean, elegant, and spacious, although a bit small which was fine for me. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal for a walk into the town. The dining experience was exceptional, with a variety of dishes that changed daily. However, some areas of the hotel were in need of maintenance and cleaning.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms had the same luxury touches with the decanter of sherry and homemade biscuits, making it a lovely experience. The complimentary sherry was a nice touch. Although the rooms were not very large, they were cozy and well-fitted, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The service was impeccable, with staff who were very attentive, helpful, and remembered us each time we visited, truly a credit to the hotel. The location was fantastic, just 3 minutes from the seafront, and the swimming pool and pool area were lovely and clean, providing a warm and inviting environment. The dining experience offered plenty of choice and was equally good as everything else. The facilities were top-notch, with spacious reception areas, a restaurant, and a bar. However, there were some minor maintenance issues that needed attention. The price was fair for the value received.
My stay at the Empire was unexpectedly delightful! Despite initial concerns, the beautiful room and incredibly kind staff turned it around. The rooms, though small, were very comfortable with all the necessary amenities and a lovely touch of sherry. The decor and furnishings were simply amazing.
My stay at the Empire Hotel turned out to be unexpectedly amazing, thanks to the beautiful room and incredibly kind staff. The location was lovely with a view down the road, although a quick refresh of the dated appearance could be beneficial. The dining experience was very good with self-serve or table service available, and the facilities offered were equally impressive.
My stay at The Empire turned from potentially disappointing to absolutely wonderful thanks to the beautiful room and incredibly kind staff. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and I truly appreciated the excellent service from everyone at the hotel.
